Beginning his career at a young age, Laurent moved to Paris and went on to assist the renowned Parisian stylist Monsieur Alexandre. Under Alexandre’s tutelage, Philippon mastered the classical techniques of French hairstyling. 

Laurent can commonly be found working with top models such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Bella Hadid, as well as his editorial work featured in some of the most renowned fashion publications in the world — American, British, Italian and French Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, to name a few.

Fashion Week has been an instrumental part of Laurent’s career, keying shows in all cities: New York, London, Milan and Paris. His list of shows consists of designers such as Adeam, Bode, Christian Cowan, Etam, Zadig et Voltaire, Herve Leger, Jonathan Cowan, Koché, Lacoste, Mansur Gavriel, Messika, MSGM, Prabal Gurung, Preen and Zuhair Murad.
